Final Fantasy Versus XIII - For PS3 Only, Bitches!

Noctis from Final Fantasy Versus XIIIEven though originally developed for the Playstation 3, after its initial release in Japan, a version of Final Fantasy XIII will be converted to fit multiple discs for the Xbox 360 at the same time that the “original” version will be released on Blu-ray for the Playstation 3 here in America. I was overwhelmed with a mix of emotions when the news of it being released for the Xbox 360 was announced last year at E3. But rest assured, the counterpart to the Fabula Nova Crystallis StoryFinal Fantasy Versus XIII — will be a Playstation 3 EXCLUSIVE! So to all those Xbox 360 fanboys: SHUT THE F**K UP! You did NOT win over Final Fantasy! Pressing on, below is the most recent trailer released from Square-Enix  which has been virally flooding the Internet and has caught much attention amongst geeks, gamers and the like. Please, enjoy. This game is going to be EPIC! — what more can I say?

{Party?} {Yes, please.} {Please invite me.}

Since my vacation started, I actually have had time to get back into playing Final Fantasy XI after being MIA for over a year now. A lot of things have changed and a lot more will be changing in the upcoming September Version Update. One thing I am really excited about is something called Level Sync, in which players at various levels will be able to restrict their “job” level down to the lowest leveled member in the group making finding a party to gain XP and/or Limit Points much easier. Until now, searching for a party was a tedious effort, one which often times lasted for hours if you were lucky. Occasionally, there was a possibility that you would be flagged for a party or be “on seek” for even longer until finally giving up and eventually logging out, wasting much time and accomplishing nothing. This is by far one of the best thing Square-Enix has done to the game! On top of that, after restricting your character to a lower level, no longer will there be a need to go out and spend your precious Gil and time swapping out your gear to match your level. You will now be allowed to wear the gear you currently have at the expense of a reduction in its attributes. (That’s pretty awesome!) Instead of running aimlessly around Jeuno or my Moogle even, I can actually look forward into doing something! I have all my end-game needs and maxed-out Merits for my Summoner, perhaps this is my chance to max-out my Merits on my White Mage and level my Black Mage, Red Mage and Dragoon up to 75. This is a really strange feeling—I am actually excited about FFXI all over again! However, this might be a bad thing.
